I felt a little bad that I didn't go ahead and include Bon Iver's album as a 2008 release. After all, I consider it one of the best albums of the decade so far. Which makes me supa excited for Justin Vernon's upcoming release of the Blood Bank EP, to be released January 20th on one of my favorite labels Jajaguwar. And the EP is streaming in it's entirety on his Myspace page as we blog. Check it out! It's good -and smartly, even more minimal(or is it less?) than For Emma. "Woods" and the piano-rockin "Babys" stand out the most to me right now, but the entire thing is worth a listen.
